Meet the Team
Brad Friedman
Principal
Brad is a seasoned service, maintenance, and construction professional with over 20 years in the commercial office sector, including mission-critical environments for defense contractors and the federal government. He leads the general construction team and oversees preventative maintenance for HVAC customers, with a focus on building strong teams and exceeding client expectations
When not at Freedom General Services, Brad enjoys the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and spending time catching up with his family.
Wally Emrich
Principal
Wally leads our mechanical department with more than 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry, a trade he proudly learned from his father. He is known for his ability to run large and small jobs while managing a great team. Wally has extensive experience in maintenance, repair, service, machinery and equipment. His troubleshooting skills are exceptional in HVAC, refrigeration and electrical systems. Wally is passionate about providing top-quality service to customers.
When he's not working, Wally enjoys spending time with his family and attending an O's game.
Karley Emrich
Director of Operations
Karley is a seasoned Director of Operations with over 15 years of experience. Karley oversees daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring projects run smoothly from proposal through completion. She reviews bids, manages contractors, and handles HR responsibilities while upholding company standards and processes.
When she's not working, Karley enjoys spending time with her family and walking the office dog, Ruby.
